New York Fashion Week is undeniably more hectic than usual, between a change of venues and a fashion calendar replete with conflicts. Carolina Herrera’s presentation, was quite literally a breath of fresh air, a rose-themed show staged at the Frick Collection on the Upper East Side.
The Spring 2016 runway show was absolutely beautiful.. It was all about pink, pink, pink this year, and I for one couldn’t be happier. From sheer cutouts to pleats, this collection was the best one I have seen to date.
While Herrera doesn’t exactly aim to shock, she’s doesn’t exactly do the same thing every season, either. This time around, she experimented with designs that gave classically feminine sillouettes a little edge.
