When first opened its concession stand in Brown Thomas, it’s fair to say we all went wild for the French pastry.
Well, now you’re about to get a whole lot more of macaroon as the long-awaited Dublin Ladurée tea salon will finally be arriving from Paris. French patissier Ladurée is opening its first Irish concession shop and tea room this week at the junction of South William Street and Wicklow Street in Dublin where it expects its famous macaroons to a become something of an obsession among the sweet-toothed.
Their macaroons are renowned for being some of the best in the world, and come in more flavours than you’d know what to do with. The likes of cognac, salted chocolate, lemon passionfruit, and rose flavours are available to those who enjoy something sweet.
I would live there if I could, but I will settle for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert there, and surround myself with all that Ladurée offers, including their whimsical candles and room sprays. Not to mention that you can also pick up some tea, books, fragrances, keyrings, champagne, and scented candle in the stores.
Ladurée Dublin, we welcome you to Ireland!
