Tiaras used to be the sole preserve of married women and dowager duchesses. However, in recent times, tiaras have been hijacked by hen-party-planners, Miss World contestants and Katie Price. If the runes of the spring/summer 2016 catwalks are anything to go by, every girl will have the option to look like a real Princess.
To get the runway look at home, choose a tiara with a dainty design — nothing too tall or overly extravagant. Temper it with messy bedhead and one or two grunge staples like army jackets, boyfriend blazers, faded denim, biker boots and leather motos. Most importantly, bring out a little attitude.
While only time will tell if the brands plan to produce the accoutrements, we’ll keep our fingers crossed that come spring, we can all be queen for a day.
