If you’re a blonde or even if you have highlights on darker hair, you know that over time the color can turn a hot shade of mellow yellow. It’s hard to get excited about your hair when the tone is off.
Purple shampoo is actually a very dark shade of purple, it visually overpowers yellow tones in your hair, leaving you with the color you’ve always wanted.
For those of you who aren’t “in the know” about purple shampoo, I’ll let you in on a secret – this stuff works!
I first came across this product some time ago and have been obsessed with it since day one. I wasn’t sure how to use this at first. After reading online the best way to use, I shampoo with my regular shampoo first, then since and proceed to use the violet shampoo and leave it on for about 5 minutes. I would recommend using a good conditioner in conjuction, as it is not at all drying as most purple shampoos can be.
You can also opt to alternate this shampoo with the regular Color Endure shampoo or a more moisturising formla to meet your hairs needs. However, a little word to the wise….It’s recommended not to use any kind of purple shampoo more than once a week (unless you’re trying to actually turn your hair purple).
The formula cleanses your hair whilst depositing violet dye upon the hair strands which work to brighten highlighted, bleached or grey hair that has yellowed, making it perfect not only for correcting brassy hair but also maintaining cool, ash colours.
