Catrice Highlighting Powder

Hello Lovelies,

Catrice, as you probably know is one of my favourite super affordable brands, so I am always stalking the stands in Penneys and my local chemists for the new releases.

Case in point is today’s quietly brilliant Catrice High Glow Mineral Highlighting Powder. If there’s anything better than a really lusted after beauty item, it’s one that costs less than most magazines. So today is an example of that perfect storm in the beauty world, where a product manages to be blissfully cheap and blissfully good.

Now this highlighting powder only comes in one shade but hopefully they’ll bring out more because the formula is second to none.  We’re talking easy application and the most gorgeous glow ever to adorn your cheekbon. Since this powder is baked, you can see this beautiful ‘marble’ texture which I really love. It reminds me a lot of the Mac Mineralize Skinfinishes in a way.

If you’re debating on whether or not you should purchase this highlight, I would say go for it! It’s the perfect highlighting powder for beginners and even those of you who really enjoy the highlighting trend already. It’s perfect for everyday wear and can be build up to look more intense. The glow and dewiness that it adds to the cheeks is beautiful and besides the texture being a bit dry and powdery, I don’t have any other remarks.

In short, basically this is fantastic and in all likelihood, you absolutely need to buy it. This is not easy to find but I know Penneys have recently restocked their stands. So if you spot it anywhere, you need to pick it up! The Catrice High Glow Mineral Highlighting Powder is now available for €5.50 (8 g).
