Beating The Blues

Seasons Greetings To You All,

We are just back from our very first visit as a family to see Santa Claus! And what an experience it was, we had the best time including little Miss May, she didn’t make strange at all and even shook hands with Santa! I am absolutely thrilled as I was very nervous as to how she would react to him but it wasn’t a bother to her. We even managed to get a very happy smiley family photo so in years to come she will be very proud of her first visit to see Santa Claus. I decided that we would go to Rathwood this year and start off what will hopefully be a tradition for years to come and I can’t tell you now that it was absolutely magical from start to finish!! For any of you parents out there that are looking for somewhere to bring your little ones for Christmas, look no further. Rathwood is so enchanting and is the perfect way to bring the magic of Christmas to any household. We started off by visiting Mrs. Claus, then took the Santa Train to Santa’s Sorting Office where we were greeted by Santa’s elves and then off to see the main man himself. I truly cannot recommend it enough. To say I am excited for Christmas Eve is an understatement.

Now back to the task at hand…..here is a little peek as to what I wore today. I spotted this dress in H&M in Newry during the week and they didn’t have my size so when I rang the brand in Stephen’s Green in Dublin and there were loads of sizes left so I managed to grab it yesterday when we we’re up there. I love the colour and the pattern was perfect to go with my over the knee boots from Public Desire. I knew I wanted something special for today and this outfit was just that! Nothing to fancy but still stylish was the aim and this dress was just that! Paired with my beloved over the knee boots and it was the perfect combination for the day.

Well I am off to A Christmas Carol and soak in the festive season now that I am in full Christmas mode.

Love,

Glam Meets Girl x
