Good Morning Everyone,
Happy New Year! How are you all doing on this beautiful January day? I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I am so excited for a new year with all of you and so thankful for your love and support that you gave in 2018! I really loved spending the holidays with my nearest and dearest, for me its the best part of the festive season. However, its now time to get back into some sort of routine and kick start the New Year.
I am starting the New Year with a new look. One that is not usually my style but I am all about trying new things and this was just that! I attended Naas Racecourse on Sunday for Ladies Day. Style stakes were high as was to be expected. The Ladies Day launch attracted a healthy crowd of milliners, stylists, fashionistas and journalists. The good news for fashion lovers – is that this is only the beginning of the Ladies Day events which really begin in April. What I adore about Ladies Day is that it showcases the very best of Irish and international design and Naas was once again a kaleidoscope of colour with the most sensational style on show.
My outfit was caped jacket that I picked up in Guiney’s in Dundalk which cost all of €5.00 so I bought a second one and decided to take the material from it and turn it into a headpiece. I wanted to make an outfit that would be timeless and classic but still have a modern twist. It is so easy to opt for black in the winter months so this was a nice way to pop a little but of colour without going over board. It was a complete steal at that price and I know I will wear it again. I teamed it with a classic pair of classic heels from Primark and a bag from Karen Millen that I picked up the day before in Kildare Village.
As we approach the back-to-back of the Irish racing calendar this summer. What are your favourite looks?
As Always Love,
