What I Wore

Hello Lovelies,

Happy Friday!!

Blue is one of my favourite colours, lately I have been obsessed with wearing it! In my eyes you can never wear enough shades. One of my favourite seasons in fashion has to be spring/summer. It is nearly that time to start welcoming back crisp whites, pastel colours and being able to wear dresses without tights and knee high boots. I may be early on the boat, as I am aware its still quite chilly outside, but I’m to excited.

Now back to today’s look…some comfy leggings, baggy tee, oversized shirt and boots and I am good to go! This shirt is from H&M, it is super casual and perfect for everyday dressing. I paired it with my black boots and leather leggings for that casual look. Yes I’m obsessed with being comfortable while of course being fashionable at the same time.

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend packed full of adventures!

Blue Mesh

Hello Lovelies,

I hope that you are all having a wonderful morning and this posts finds you happy and well! Today’s post is a shout out to a little shop that I happen to like…and by like I mean love…and by love, I mean I love it lots. The shop I am talking about…wait for it…Zara!! Surprise Surprise!!

Some of you may have been able to tell this from previous posts but a couple of my favourite colours to wear are blue and black. I love the clean lines of black and the pop that blue gives any outfit. I love wearing shades of blue, and this off peak blue is perfect for this season.  I paired it with this fabulous black sandals and I love how the color pops against the black tones.

That is all for now.

Camper Green

Hello Gang,

Happy Hump Day! How has your week been? I hope you are all having a wonderful day and this post finds you doing so very well! We are in the process of preparing for Baby May’s christening, it is all systems go here at the minute but we are just about ready for the big day now.

Today’s post features a Zara jacket that I love it so much! This jacket takes a kind of low-key olive or army green. I have combined the basic black tee and my trust worthy leather jeggings and I love the casual and comfortable vibe it gives. I have been eyeing down this jacket for a bit now. I am always on the search for a fun jacket that is comfy yet still cool and this was perfect. I can’t wait to layer it and mix it with a bunch of different looks.  This will be a jacket you will continue to see on me.

Pink Frills

Hello Lovelies,

Does this outfit show that I’m ready for spring or what? Well I can tell you that I am beyond ready and I hate that the weather just keeps teasing us.  Anytime there is decent weather I am in my spring attire, which I am a little surprised is filled with pink this year.

As you all know we went to Killashee House Hotel for a little mid-week getaway. It had that utterly charming combination of a grand manor house and cosy country cottage. It’s elegant but not imposing touches like hanging flower baskets, butterfly garden and extensive grounds made it a picturesque spot in which to spend some time. So as you can imagine it was the perfect time to use the beautiful grounds as the perfect back drop for today’s look!

I thought I would brighten things up a bit with this pink frills look that I wore. This look had a bit of sass, along with a bit of girly as well. I have been drawn to all things pink as of late and love every time I slip it into a look to add a little colour to brighten things up! I think I have worn each of these items numerous times in the last week or so and let’s just say, they are definitely new favourites.

That is all for now but I will be back soon with some more outfit updates.

Black It Is

img_2504Hello Lovelies,

Happy Saturday! It is the weekend again, how time flies. How is your weekend going? We are back in Carlow for the next couple of days in order to prepare for May’s christening. It is all systems go at the minute but we are nearly there just completing the finishing

Now back to business….today I decided to give all black a different look! When I go to get dressed every day the first outfit that pops in my head is an all black look. Let’s be honest, it’s hard to mess up an all black look….it’s sleek, chic and slimming! It has been and will always be one of my top colours of choice!

Are you a gal that likes to sport all black or is it too simple for you?

Feeling Denim

Hello Everyone,

I hope this post finds all of you happy and well today! I wanted to talk about one of the constants in my wardrobe from season to season, the ever consistent and stylish denim. I know I have mentioned this before, but I will say it again: denim is a staple and whether it be a denim top, skirt, or jeans, it pairs extremely well and seems to always bring that classic vibe to a look. Something that I look for in the denim I wear is a high level of comfort and that is exactly what this shirt from Zara does.

Denim is something that has shown itself in the fashion world for decades, and done so in many different ways, whether it be casual, formal, edgy, grunge, classic, etc., and what I love about that is it shows that denim is timeless. It can be vintage and fresh all at the same time and that is not something that happens easily in the fashion world.

Thanks for following! Let me know what (if any) questions you have and I will try to get them answered! I hope you have a wonderful day!!

Leather Cameo

Hey Gang,

Happy Hump Day! How is your week going? You are half way there….we are all off to Kilashee House tomorrow for a little night away. I am so excited to get away for the night, it has been forever! I can hear the spa calling my name already.

When I find a skirt that I love I know it’s a good day. For me, skirts are just like dresses because they are so easy to wear. I am always on the search for new leather or faux leather, you can never have too many in my opinion.  As far as this skirt goes, it has been a go-to of mine for the quiet some time. It feels great to be able to fit back into it after Baby May, I could literally wear it to almost any occasion. I found it in Zara last Christmas and have teamed it with so many different pieces that it can be worn during any season if you have the right piece to pair it with.

Well, I am off to pack for tomorrow. Thank you all for stopping by!

White Ruffles

Hi Lovelies,

Happy Tuesday!

This season’s ruffles are surprisingly elegant and wearable. And like most fashion girls, I’m not exactly patient when it comes to new trends. So once I spot a little something I know I will love there is no stopping me! Ruffles are one of the biggest trends this year and it is now easier than ever to shop this season’s most affordable ruffled pieces!

Last week I found the ruffle blouse in Zara….white, cotton and (just a little bit) cut-out.  It’s girly without the fuss and chic enough for a night out…as undressy as I am, at this time of year, this blouse is perfect for any occasion. There are loads of versions on the high street right now, meaning you don’t have to break the bank to get the look. My tip? Pair your ruffles with something casual like denim and then look to accessories for clashing textures.

As Always Love,

Winter Elegance

Hey Gang,

Happy Sunday! How was everyones weekend?
I do love this time of year when we are in between transitional season from winter to spring. It is just getting warm enough to rock an open toe sandal but cold enough to get your get the last wear out of your winter coat!

As you all know I am a massive fan of elegant dressing. For me it doesn’t get more classic than a pleated, midi length skirt just like this one. Midi shirts are a great way of injecting femininity into your winter wardrobe. After all, who said we have to restrict skirts and dresses to the summer. Teamed with this little ruffled number and some lace up heels this outfit made for a chic everyday look.

That is all for now lovelies!

Flash Some Leg

Hello Everyone,

Not to be totally Irish but what is with this weather at the moment?! It’s so erratic which makes dressing to leave the house a bit of a guessing game. We have had a few pleasant days and digging out the sunnies has made me extremely happy and oh so ready for summer to get it’s butt here pronto.

Oh midi skirt. You are absolutely everywhere. Every girl needs one of these skirts in their catalogue of clothes. It is an essential staple item and something you can throw on and really never go wrong with. They are comfortable and stylish which makes for a winning combo in my books. What I love about a midi is that a subtle reveal of the leg will always detract away from longer length of fabric.

Are you lovely ladies embracing the midi trend? What are you sporting and how do you wear it?
